4 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/2 cup coconut flakes (opt.)
2/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
Heat over to 300 degrees. Pour oats onto a baking pan with sides and cook for 15 minutes in the oven. While they are cooking, mix together in a large bowl, oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt. Add the almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds and oats and mix completely to incorporate all ingredients. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper and divide half of the mixture on each and spread evenly. Cook in oven for 25-30 minutes until golden. Remove and let cool before storing in container of your choice.
